Good Writing Is That Someone Understands. Good Copy Is That People Feel Understood.

Our reading notes on Alex Hormozi

• Alex Hormozi: How to Make Offers So Good People Feel Stupid Saying No

About 37 minutes into this conversation, Hormozi uses an agency with a finite onboarding team to explain a credible limit on new work. A buyer can act on the actual next opening. The seller needs to check the schedule before attaching a deadline to the offer.

• Alex Hormozi on the “Weak Links” That Will Make Anyone a Millionaire

Hormozi uses a length of chain to explain why reinforcing a strong part can leave the whole system pulling the same load. In a business, that means finding the step that currently determines output. The limiting step can move once a team adds capacity.

• I Offered $10,000 to Anyone Who Could Change My Mind | Ep 1013

Hormozi invites entrepreneurs to challenge rules he has offered publicly. The chapter at 5:23 concerns which customers to sell to. Another, at 24:16, asks how much a founder should stake on one decision. The debate format gives the challenger a concrete job: find a situation in which following the rule produces a poor result.
